Mladen's winery was established in 2000 in the small Danube town of Tutrakan. The idea is from the owner Mladen Mihaylov, who wants to show the surprisingly interesting region with its thousand-year-old history, preserved traditions and spirit.
The vineyards cover an area of over 100 acres. The vineyards are located near two natural treasures - the Danube River and the Kalimok - Brushlen protected area, located near the town of Tutrakan.
The varieties used in the winery are Dimyat, Tamyanka and Chardonnay - for white wines.
The Cabernet Franc variety is used for the production of red wines.
The hallmark of Mladen's womery is excellence, achieved through a drive for innovation, in-depth knowledge and deep respect for the terroir, located near the Danube River and the Kalimok - Brushlen protected area.
The vineyards in the steep terroirs along the Danube River are cultivated through intensive manual labor by the family of winegrowers, who are the true heroes of the winery.
Craftsmanship, sustainability and unique biodiversity are the pillars of the vineyards that Mladen's winery preserves.
