Wine weekend marathon around Veliko Tarnovo

On February 10-11, you are invited to celebrate St. Trifon Zarezan. You will take part in the traditional ritual of vineyard pruning, you will have the opportunity to taste young and aged wines with character and style, and a rich folklore program will keep the mood up on both days.

On February 10, the New Vineyards invite you to their celebration near the picturesque village of Arbanassi. The festive program starts at 11 am and will last until 6 pm with a barbecue and mulled wine.

On 11.02. in Yalovo winery after 11 o’clock you will be welcomed by the chief butler of the event – Dimitar Tudzharov – Shkumbatta, and the pruning of the vines will be in the presence of the Enologist of Bulgaria for 2022 Dimitar Dimov.

The hosts have prepared, besides plenty of good Bulgarian wine, lots of entertainment and barrel rolling competitions, local specialties and barbecue.

In the vicinity of the two festivities, you can also visit the Dragoshinov cellar in the village of. Natsovtsi, next to the Kilifarevski Monastery, to tell you about the traditions and secrets of wine making and viticulture.
