Tsarev Brod Winery was built in 2015, 14 years after the first 270 decars of vineyards were planted. The idea for having an own winery was born in 2001, when Ivan Ivanov, together with his family, planted the first decars of vineyards in the village with the same name - Tsarev Brod in region of Shumen.
The area of the vineyard is 400 acres and the average altitude of the area is 250 m. The varieties used in the winery are Gergana, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Traminer - for the white wines. Evmolpia, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Gris are used for red wines and rosé.
It's not just a winery - it's an art. It is a daring and romantic dream that has withstood the hardships of the years to become the home of real wine, laying the foundations for new styles in winemaking.
The doors of the winery are wide open to visitors, and the hosts' sincere desire is to introduce their guests to the colorful world of wine, to share with them an extraordinary experience, and to pull back the curtain on the whole process of how a special wine comes to be.
Tsarev Brod Winery has a wide range of wines in several series - White Label, Yellow Label "Amber Vintage", Black Label "Reserve" and Bulgarian Series, with each series having its own unique character.
