Dragoshinov Winery

Dragoshinov is a welcoming winery in the village of Natsovtsi, 15 km south of Veliko Tarnovo. The winery is a family project created by Daniel Dragoshinov, a talented oenologist whose professional path is entirely connected with wine. His philosophy is to follow the character coming from the variety, the vineyard and the year to create elegant signature wines with character.

Visit the winery to see where and how the boutique series of between 300 and 1400 bottles per label are produced, which together make up just 8000 bottles per year. An essential part of the production is the wormwood infusion according to a traditional Kilifarevo recipe..

Our history

Dragoshinov Winery is located in the small village of Natsovtsi, where the family has roots dating back 180 years. The winery’s first harvest was in 2019, but the wine story begins much earlier with the professional career of owner and oenologist Daniel Dragoshinov. His wines, produced in very small batches, are elegant and carry the character of the variety and the place where the grapes come from.

Dragoshinov Winery works closely with the owners of the vineyards. In most cases, the grapes come not just from the same vineyard, but from precisely defined rows that are grown specifically for the winery. The grapes are hand-picked and processed gently. The attention to every step of the production process yields an excellent wine that the owners are rightly proud of.

The winery welcomes guests year-round. There you will take a wine tour of the winery and taste the wines, white, red and rosé, along with a treat of good homemade food and local delicacies.

The village of Natsovtsi is very easily accessible, just 15 km south of Veliko Tarnovo. A visit to the winery is a perfect addition to your stay in the old capital city, adding an intriguing experience dedicated to the knowledge of wine and the pleasure of every sip.
