The Varbovka family winery does not have its own vineyards, but the grapes that are processed there are mainly from local vineyards.
Varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel and Kailashki Misket are used.
The production itself is aimed at smaller batches of high-quality wines, divided into three series: No Occasion, Native and Cuvee.
The young oenologist Kaloyan Penev, who is the son of the owners, has recently been at the helm of the family business. With his innovative approach and out-of-the-box thinking, he creates wines that are fresh and show the varietal characteristics of the grapes from which they are produced.
